boron - So, news time: . . . It looks as though I am about to quit my job and move to Vancouver again. I've received a pretty sweet job proposal which happens to include airfare and as fates would have it aligns pretty cleanly with the end of my lease on my apartment. . . . So suck on that.

Boron - Okay folks, This is highly experimental, I'm not going to put a link on the main page just yet because I'd have to find somewhere in my Chemwar layout for an actual menu. . . . . . . But here's the deal. I'm going to try and revive Chemwar Storytime. . . . . . . PLEASE for the love of all that is good, leave the beastiality, porn, hookers and otherwise unnecessary topics at home for the second story. My goal is to create a hilarious story that a kid would like, then illustrate it, then sell it for billions. . . . . . . Lastly please don't hijack the story, that means no sudden killing of characters you don't like to make way for characters you do like or something along those lines... . . . . . . Keep that in mind as I timidly offer you Chemwar Storytime: <a href='http://www.chemwar.org/story/'>hypertext link</a>

boron - It's always been a swing and a miss deal. I've yet to see a single spammer hit the nail on the head. That's kind of a plus side to having written a backend myself. . . . Also now I know the spam robutts can't read since the secrets are posted in red at the bottom of the page.

Boron - Round 4... FIGHT! . . . . . . I'm entering into round 4 with Futureshop. This one is going to be epic. . . . . . . Over the weekend the video card on my laptop shat the bed and gave me a mild breakdown. . . . I coudn't get the laptop to boot properly and I couldn't for the life of me remember just when I had gotten this, the latest replacement, from the F-shop. . . . The problems I faced were many, If the laptop was out of warranty then I was effectively done for, I can't afford a laptop at the moment so it would have left me computerless! Also even if the machine was under warranty I couldn't boot up to get my files off and I know F-shop well enough now that I know their first step in troubleshooting is to format anything they can reach. . . . It was a long long night. . . . In the end I managed to boot the system using Bart's PE (<a href='http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BartPE'>hypertext link</a> which if you haven't got a copy of I'd highly recommend it.) This allowed me to copy heaps of info onto my iPod and whatever didn't fit onto my iPod I copied onto my modded xBox. . . . I would also recommend getting an external harddrive to anyone who has important files. . . . The next day with bated breath I headed to the F-shop downtown and checked to see if the injured machine in my backpack was still covered by F-shop's medicare. . . . . . . . . . It was annnnnnnnnnnnnd I could breath again. . . . . . . I'd been toughing out a few little problems with the machine for a while now because the thought of going without a computer for up to 60 days due to piddling problems was too much. so now that I dragged it into the hospital I basically decided to splurge and get the full monty. Everything that was even remotely wrong has been reported and should be fixed. . . . However in the even that F-shop manages to f-this one up again I will be looking at a brand new laptop. . . . . . . In that eventuality I wll be into Futureshop for going on $10,000 in free laptops thus far. . . . . . . Here's hoping.
